Carillon

Carillon is a solo project from Ken Quam, a musician and composer from Baltimore. These are instrumental meditative pieces created with synthesizers, vibraphone, percussion, and sampled sounds. The melodies and motifs repeat, build, and deepen creating a peaceful and dreamlike atmosphere.

'Moonlight' was intentionally composed and mastered in 432 Hz, a tuning known for its profoundly warm and natural resonance. The result is a deeply atmospheric soundscape where soothing Rhodes melodies, soft dusty drums, and a warm bassline converge to create a truly immersive listening experience. "Moonlight" is more than just a beat; it's a moment of peace. It represents the core of the "Akasha" project — crafting cohesive, intentional sound for depth and relaxation.

Rusan Algar

Rusan Algar is a versatile music producer whose roots lie in the deep sonic landscapes of Trap, Boom Bap, and Lo-Fi. Born in Switzerland to Portuguese parents, music was practically in his blood. His father was a DJ in the 1980s, and his brother is also a DJ. Music has always been an integral part of his life.

At the age of 12, he took guitar lessons and immersed himself in the world of rock and metal. By 18, he began experimenting with house music, blending electronic sounds with his guitar. But his musical journey was far from over. At 25, he found his true calling in urban genres in Trap, Boom Bap, and Hip-Hop.

Since 2023, he has been deeply immersed in Lo-Fi music, developing a keen sense for warm, nostalgic sounds.

Another fascinating aspect of his work is his deep interest in frequencies. For the past three years, he has been exploring sound therapy and the effects of specific frequencies, particularly 432 Hz, on human consciousness. He skillfully integrates these insights into his productions, creating music that is not only heard but felt.

His years of experience with the guitar and knowledge of piano flow seamlessly into his productions, making his music organic and distinctive. 

His music is more than just sound!

It’s a journey through different genres, moods, and frequencies. With every beat, every melody, and every note, he continues to write his story, a story of passion, dedication, and innovation.

"As a music producer from Leeds, UK, I’ve always had a deep passion for music".

"I enjoy listening to a wide range of genres — from hip hop and dance to house, soul, and electronic. Over time, though, I found myself drawn more towards chilled, lounge, and Lo-Fi sounds".

"In late 2022, I began working on my debut album titled Experimental Sounds, which was released in 2023. The project combined elements of lounge and electronic music, setting the foundation for my creative style".

"Soon after its release, I started developing ideas for a follow-up. I wanted to lean more into the chill and lounge side of my sound, while building on what I had created in Experimental Sounds. That vision led to my next album, titled Dreamland, which was designed to take listeners on a journey through different musical moods and themes".

"The album opened with Mood Music, a smooth introduction featuring a slow beat, soft melody, and calming saxophone. Mission Discovery invites listeners on a trip beyond the stars, while Jazz Café blends gentle piano and trumpet tones over a relaxed drum groove".

We're too late...

After detecting radio signals from a nearby exoplanet that confirms the presence of an intelligent life form, our Impulse Class scout ship has arrived after a long journey only to find the remnants of a sophisticated extraterrestrial race.

Strange alien artifacts litter the surface of the desolate planet, suggesting that an industrial complex of some kind once stood here.

A heavily mined out moon drifts slowly through the sky. Scattered across the landscape, small metallic containers containing foreign fragments of exotic minerals are clustered about.

Perhaps the answer to the alien race's demise is inscribed on the symbolic spheres that hover gently above the sandy terrain.

Unless we can decode the symbols, we'll never know who they were or how their story ends.

Cosmic Cadence

Canadian ambient / electronic music producer and soundscape artist, Cosmic Cadence's music and soundtracks have been frequently featured in planetarium shows in Canada and the US.
