Arthur Dobrucki - The Dim Lake of Auber

'The Dim Lake of Auber' by Arthur Dobrucki is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Mar 7, 2025

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Ulalume," The Dim Lake of Auber is a meditative ambient new single that transports listeners into a relaxing atmosphere. This composition invites listeners to close their eyes and enter a world of where a glimpse of the lake is seen as referenced by Poe in his poem:

It was night in the lonesome October
 Of my most immemorial year;
It was hard by the dim lake of Auber,
In the misty mid region of Weir—
It was down by the dank tarn of Auber,
In the ghoul-haunted woodland of Weir.

Blending elements of Ambient music influences, The Dim Lake of Auber is a work of art for ambient music fans and those who appreciate deep, evocative soundscapes. The single creates a meditative mood with its experimental style, offering listeners a fusion of ambient and cinematic ambiance.

This release serves as a prelude to the upcoming adaptation of Poe's Ulalume, set to music by Willard Overstreet. This work will continue to explore the intersection of poetry and music.

LOGICA ABSTRACTA - Amber

'Amber', the new track by LOGICA ABSTRACTA is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Released February 7th, 2025

"Amber" is the first single/EP from the full-length album "Headspace Station" by LOGICA ABSTRACTA. The single adds three unreleased b-sides and a video for the title track. The record is focused on ambient side of the project and does not feature any beats or percussion.

The EP is a real piece of sonic jewelry, just as name would suggest - small, light, compact, almost ethereal, but bright and having some sort of magnetism. Each track is a small world that you pass by while listening, with closing track "White Conjuring" being one of the most touching pieces Vadim Militsin ever created as Logica Abstracta or, in fact, as any of his numerous projects.

Vadim Militsinʼs ambient project LOGICA ABSTRACTA offers a moody and ethereal listening experience, characterized by floating textures, granular experiments, and deep cosmic soundscapes. While Vadim's diverse sonic explorations under different monikers have previously embraced various styles, this project stands out with its airy tones and nostalgic moods, inviting listeners to drift through vivid auditory realms.

Mastered by Bill Sellar @ Super Audio Mastering.

“Amber” by LOGICA ABSTRACTA is available on most streaming platforms.

Pollen is available on all streaming platforms on March 20, 2025.

Alien Signal - Whispers from distant Suns (Vinyl)

Released today and featuring on Moon Phase Radio is the vinyl format album by Alien Signal entitled 'Whispers from distant Suns'

Vinyl Release Date: 13th March 2025
Download Release Date: April 2025

After a 30-year interstellar silence, the enigmatic producer Alien Signal - pioneering alias of Italian electronic composer Alex Silvi - re-emerges with Whispers from Distant Suns, a transcendent odyssey that bridges retro-futurism and modern electronica. Hailed as a magnum opus, this album transcends genre boundaries, captivating ambient purists, downtempo aficionados, and even experimental listeners with its hypnotic fusion of analog warmth and digital precision.

Cosmic Tapestry of Sound

Drawing comparisons to Vangelis’ Antarctica and Alpha - but reimagined through a 21st century lens - Whispers from Distant Suns marries nostalgic synth textures with cutting-edge production. Silvi’s mastery of melody shines through in tracks like “Stardust Memories” and “Fragile Eden” where shimmering arpeggios and celestial pads drift over robotic, glitch-infused drum patterns and sparse, meditative percussion. The result is a paradox: a retro-futuristic soundscape that feels simultaneously ancient and alien, familiar yet unexplored.

The Vinyl Experience

Pressed on heavyweight vinyl, the album’s physical release amplifies its immersive qualities. The gatefold sleeve, adorned with surrealist astrophotography and metallic foiling, mirrors the music’s cosmic ethos. Side A leans into Balearic serenity, with sun-dappled grooves and aquatic synth ripples, while Side B delves into darker, more experimental terrain - think Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works colliding with the organic rhythms of Jon Hopkins.

Maturity in Motion

This album is a testament to Silvi’s evolution. Tracks like “Seeds Of Light” and “Message from Andromeda Galaxy” showcase his refined ear for dynamics, balancing silence and sound with surgical precision. Vintage drum machines spar with glitches, while field recordings of crashing waves and interstellar static blur the line between Earth and cosmos. The closing track, “The Star Charts We Shared” crescendos into a 6-minute ambient requiem, leaving listeners suspended in a state of weightless awe.

Final Transmission

Whispers from Distant Suns is more than an album - it’s a transcendent odyssey. Spanning time, space, and the artist’s own creative evolution, this immersive work invites listeners to lose themselves in its ebb and flow. Designed for moments both intimate and expansive, its balearic-tinged atmospheres resonate equally through dawn-lit Mediterranean terraces or the solitary glow of headphones in darkness. These are compositions that pulse, morph, and haunt the air long after the final note fades. A living soundscape meant to accompany life’s quiet revelations and clandestine joys—a soundtrack to your most personal moments, crafted as what the artist calls ‘private dance music.’

Tailored for the Discerning Listener

Whispers from Distant Suns is designed with the true connoisseur in mind. This album is a must-have for:

• Vinyl Collectors & Audiophiles: Those who value the warmth and tactile experience of heavyweight, limited edition pressings.

• Electronic Ambient and Downtempo Fans: Listeners who appreciate immersive soundscapes that merge retro analog charm with modern digital innovation.

• Retro-Futurism Enthusiasts: Fans of pioneering artists like Vangelis, Boards of Canada, and early Warp Records who seek music that bridges nostalgic synth textures with futuristic experimentation.

• Experimental Music Explorers: Individuals drawn to sonic narratives that invite deep, contemplative listening—perfect for both introspective moments and immersive listening sessions.

This release is not just an album; it’s a curated experience for those who desire music as a multidimensional art form, merging the vintage allure of analog sound with a contemporary, cosmic vision.

Vickram Bhamra - Moonlight

From the album 'Dreamland' the track entitled 'Moonlight' by Vickram Bhamra is now playing on M.P.R Chill.

Release date: Jul 22, 2024

In Vickram Bhamra's own words, "As a new producer from Leeds, UK. Music has always been a big passion of mine. I enjoyed listening to so many music genres from Hip Hop, Dance, House, Soul, Jazz etc however, I was always drawn more towards chilled out / lounge / Lo-Fi music."

"In late 2022 I decided to start work on my own album called ‘Experimental Sounds’ which released in 2023 and was a mixture of chilled, upbeat and dance music. After the album was released, I started to come up with new ideas for a follow up. I wanted to focus a little more on the chilled / lounge sound, whilst improving on the melodies."

"I started work on my follow up album called ‘Dreamland’, with the aim to take the listener through a journey of different chilled/lounge music themes. Starting the album with ‘Mood Music’ I wanted to ease the listeners in with a slow beat containing a soft melody and a calm saxophone. ‘Mission Discovery’ takes you on a journey beyond the stars. While a slow piano and trumpet over a drums backdrop sets the scene for ‘Jazz Cafe’."

"A particular favourite of mine, ‘Neon City’ was me exploring the mellow Electronic/House sounds that were around in the late 80's early 90's. ‘Mind Games’ begins like a dance song with female vocals only for it to switch midway and return back to the chilled theme of the album."

Dreamland is available now on all streaming platforms and available to buy from ITunes, Amazon, Bandcamp and other digital retailers.

kicktracks - Jeju's time

Playing on M.P.R Chill is the latest release by kicktracks entitled 'Jeju's Time'

Release date: Feb 21, 2025

Kicktracks is a music producer and traveler currently based in Mauritius, but his sound knows no borders. Blending hip-hop, lo-fi, and influences from the places he explores, his music creates immersive, cinematic soundscapes that capture the essence of different cultures and experiences.

Travel has always been a huge inspiration for his work, but life threw an unexpected challenge his way - a stage four Burkitt lymphoma diagnosis. After recovering, he was finally able to return to making music and bring it to completion with a renewed creative vision.

"Jeju's Time" was conceived and recorded on Jeju Island, a place that deeply moved him. Struck by its beauty and the sense of freedom that comes with traveling, he knew he had to capture that feeling in this song. To add depth, he incorporated ambient sounds recorded directly on the island, making the track even more immersive.

But this song isn’t just about Jeju - it’s about the feeling of being on a journey, when everything around you is constantly in motion, and you find yourself moving with it. This sense of movement was especially meaningful, as Kicktracks embarked on this trip just a month and a half after undergoing hip replacement surgery - making every step, every moment of travel, even more valuable.

Released - February 25th 2025.

The Primary Phase Principle (TPPP) is an instrumental electronic and post-industrial solo project of Eric St-Onge in Winnipeg, Canada, conceived in Nov 2023.

Influences include How To Destroy Angels,  Nine Inch Nails, Tangerine Dream, Rob Dougan, and science fiction stories.

TPPP's music attempts to create and convey fictional worlds and stories, without the use of lyrics. Each track is thoughtfully crafted, often with highly dynamic structures and instrumentation that tends toward blending dark electronic tones with bright organic melodies.

About Eric St-Onge

Eric St-Onge first got into music through guitar lessons at the age of 8. He played guitar in some small bands through his teen years and early twenties, mainly hard rock and metal. He began learning to write and produce his own music at the age of 16 using GarageBand. At 19, he obtained a diploma in audio engineering from the Mid-Ocean School of Media Arts in Winnipeg, where he learned Pro Tools and Reason. After a 5-year stint as a commercial producer for Golden West Radio, he changed career paths and obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, which was the beginning of a 12 year hiatus from music production. In 2023, while working as a Systems Engineer for Wabtec Corporation, he finally decided to take up music once again, re-branding himself as The Primary Phase Principle.
