The title Evening Drive was inspired by the imagery of cruising home after a long day, with the tracks conjuring a feeling reminiscent of tuning into a late-night "Quiet Storm" radio program. "This project is about giving listeners a sense of feeling relaxed and accomplished after a productive day, looking forward to unwinding alone or with someone special," says Pantera.P.
The LP opens with the upbeat and energetic ‘City Lights,’ setting the tone with a classic boom-bap beat that evokes the sleek, cinematic energy of a car commercial or the opening credits of a classic movie. The journey continues through standout tracks like ‘Surco Fuerte,’ which translates to "Strong Groove," and closes with ‘So Glad You’re Here,’ a heartfelt tune meant to encapsulate the feeling of arriving home.
