Schatten Der Erde - Raphaels Mantra

Artist and Composer Schatten Der Erde debuts on M.P.R Ambient with 'Raphaels Mantra'

Release date: Apr 10, 2026

With Raphaels Mantra, artist and composer Schatten Der Erde opens a sonic gateway into a world where sound becomes remembrance, and music becomes a vessel for inner awakening.

Blending delicate piano textures with subtle ambient layers and cinematic depth, Raphaels Mantra unfolds like a quiet revelation. The piece invites listeners to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with a deeper sense of presence beyond the noise of everyday life.

Inspired by the character Raphael from the spiritual-dystopian novel Schatten der Erde – Erinnern des Lichts, the track reflects themes of truth, perception, and the awakening of consciousness. Raphael, a seeker of hidden knowledge, symbolizes the courage to look beyond illusion—and this essence is translated into a soundscape that feels both introspective and expansive.

Rather than following traditional structures, Raphaels Mantra evolves organically, allowing emotion and atmosphere to guide the listener. It sits at the intersection of Ambient, Neo-Classical, and Soundtrack music—offering a refreshing and deeply immersive listening experience. More than just a standalone track, Raphaels Mantra is a fragment of a greater story—inviting the audience to feel, reflect, and remember.

Raphaels Mantra is part of a larger artistic vision: a series of 12 musical mantras, each representing one of the central characters of the story and their inner journey.

Spectrical - Litchfield

The album 'Litchfield' by Spectrical is now featuring on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date 16 May 2026

Pre-order from 2 May 2026

'Litchfield' is a quietly immersive album shaped by the lush, expansive wilderness of Australia’s Northern Territory. Inspired by time spent walking, swimming, and listening within Litchfield National Park and its surrounds, Spectrical weaves field recordings of birds, insects, bats, flowing water, and trees in the wind into gently unfolding compositions. These environmental fragments were first transferred to cassette tape, becoming the textural core of the record. Recorded with analogue synthesizer, electric guitar, kalimba, glockenspiel, modular electronics, and tape-based processes, Litchfield drifts between documentation and abstraction; suspended between field and studio, where environment and composition converge.

Fading Bright, the sophomore album by Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound, is an experimental ambient journey through hazy, nostalgic soundscapes. Recorded with analogue synthesizers, a compact Eurorack system, piano, and found sounds, the record is shaped as much by texture as by melody, embracing the dusty imperfections of analogue electronics, lo-fi digital effects, and gentle tape warbles. Blissed-out drones dissolve into playful, hypnotic motifs, giving way to moments of sombre reflection. A collection of intimate yet expansive sonic vignettes, Fading Bright lingers like a warm memory, glowing bright even as it fades with time.

SLAPPER - We Kept the Night

SLAPPER returns to M.P.R Chill with the latest release titled 'We Kept the Night'

Release date: Apr 10, 2026

Romanian electronic artist SLAPPER unveils his new single, WE KEPT THE NIGHT, a nostalgic synthpop/synthwave track that blends emotional depth with a cinematic electronic sound. Built around a delicate piano motif and evolving into a rich, melodic atmosphere, WE KEPT THE NIGHT explores themes of memory, connection, and the kind of nights that never truly fade. The track combines retro-inspired textures with modern production, making it suitable for both radio airplay and curated electronic playlists.

Dam CPH - Paper Boats

Dam CPH returns to M.P.R Chill with a new track titled 'Paper Boats'.

Release date: Apr 7, 2026

Copenhagen-based artist and producer Dam CPH releases "Paper Boats", a soft and reflective pop single built around silence, longing, and the words people almost say but never send. Dreamy female vocals, soft banjo, airy flute, and a fragile pulse give the track an intimate, close-up feel.

The song lives in the space between reaching out and pulling back — borrowed names, deleted messages, half-finished stories, and two people circling each other without fully arriving. "Paper Boats" turns romantic uncertainty into something tender, delicate, and quietly unforgettable.
