Schatten Der Erde - Raphaels Mantra

Artist and Composer Schatten Der Erde debuts on M.P.R Ambient with 'Raphaels Mantra'

Release date: Apr 10, 2026

With Raphaels Mantra, artist and composer Schatten Der Erde opens a sonic gateway into a world where sound becomes remembrance, and music becomes a vessel for inner awakening.

Blending delicate piano textures with subtle ambient layers and cinematic depth, Raphaels Mantra unfolds like a quiet revelation. The piece invites listeners to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with a deeper sense of presence beyond the noise of everyday life.

Inspired by the character Raphael from the spiritual-dystopian novel Schatten der Erde – Erinnern des Lichts, the track reflects themes of truth, perception, and the awakening of consciousness. Raphael, a seeker of hidden knowledge, symbolizes the courage to look beyond illusion—and this essence is translated into a soundscape that feels both introspective and expansive.

Rather than following traditional structures, Raphaels Mantra evolves organically, allowing emotion and atmosphere to guide the listener. It sits at the intersection of Ambient, Neo-Classical, and Soundtrack music—offering a refreshing and deeply immersive listening experience. More than just a standalone track, Raphaels Mantra is a fragment of a greater story—inviting the audience to feel, reflect, and remember.

Raphaels Mantra is part of a larger artistic vision: a series of 12 musical mantras, each representing one of the central characters of the story and their inner journey.

Spectrical - Litchfield

The album 'Litchfield' by Spectrical is now featuring on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date 16 May 2026

Pre-order from 2 May 2026

'Litchfield' is a quietly immersive album shaped by the lush, expansive wilderness of Australia’s Northern Territory. Inspired by time spent walking, swimming, and listening within Litchfield National Park and its surrounds, Spectrical weaves field recordings of birds, insects, bats, flowing water, and trees in the wind into gently unfolding compositions. These environmental fragments were first transferred to cassette tape, becoming the textural core of the record. Recorded with analogue synthesizer, electric guitar, kalimba, glockenspiel, modular electronics, and tape-based processes, Litchfield drifts between documentation and abstraction; suspended between field and studio, where environment and composition converge.

Fading Bright, the sophomore album by Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound, is an experimental ambient journey through hazy, nostalgic soundscapes. Recorded with analogue synthesizers, a compact Eurorack system, piano, and found sounds, the record is shaped as much by texture as by melody, embracing the dusty imperfections of analogue electronics, lo-fi digital effects, and gentle tape warbles. Blissed-out drones dissolve into playful, hypnotic motifs, giving way to moments of sombre reflection. A collection of intimate yet expansive sonic vignettes, Fading Bright lingers like a warm memory, glowing bright even as it fades with time.

Kamaji - Sedimenti

The track 'Sedimenti' by artist and producer Kamaji is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Feb 17, 2026

Sedimenti

The track 'Sedimenti' is taken from the EP titled 'Luce Fredda'. The piece unfolds as a slow accumulation of sonic elements: granular textures, deep reverbs, and fragments that settle over time, creating a sense of continuous stratification. There’s no linear progression, but rather an internal, almost geological movement made of micro-variations and subtle shifts.

The atmosphere is suspended and cold, leaning more toward observation than narration, leaving space for attentive and immersive listening.

EP - Luce Fredda

Producer Kamaji releases Luce Fredda, an ambient and IDM work that unfolds as a suspended sonic landscape between nature, memory, and perception.

Organic and digital elements coexist throughout the record: sounds reminiscent of insects, plants, and aquatic creatures appear and dissolve within minimal electronic structures. The result is a fluid and unstable sonic environment, as if observed through the filter of a dream or a distant memory.

As the tracks evolve, this landscape gradually stops being only an external place and becomes an emotional and inner space. Water, light, and natural sounds slowly transform into symbols of a mental state, opening the door to a sonic journey that runs through the entire EP.

The sound of the record is built on a fragile and deconstructed foundation made of subtle details and almost imperceptible variations. Ambient textures intertwine with broken rhythms, crystalline synths, and seemingly disconnected sound materials, as if emerging from a parallel reality.

A recurring element is the 8-bit aesthetic inspired by retro video games: a subtle yet persistent reference to digital nostalgia, glitch textures, and the technological memory of sound.

Luce Fredda is neither a refuge nor an escape, but a fragile meeting point between opposites: nature and abstraction, silence and rhythm, sensory perception and suspension.

Boy of Sleep - 117-155

Boy of Sleep returns to M.P.R Ambient with the track titled '117-155'

Release date: Mar 13, 2026

The track '117-155' is taken from the forthcoming album 'Ambient Works Vol 1' which is due for release on October 16th, 2026

Ambient Works Vol 1 was recorded as a series of quiet experiments—sound passing through tape, memory passing through time. Built on a 4-track recorder with synthesizers and drifting effects, the album leans into imperfection: hiss, saturation, the soft blur where tones lose their edges. The pieces feel less composed than remembered, looping like half-forgotten dreams or distant broadcasts. It’s music meant to hover rather than arrive, existing in the space between waking and sleep, where nostalgia isn’t recalled—it’s felt." - Boy of Sleep

Boy of Sleep is the ambient project of musician Michael Lane, known to many for his work in the indie-folk scene. Under this alias, Lane creates calm, atmospheric soundscapes built on minimalism, emotion, and a clear, understated aesthetic. The pieces move between meditative stillness and subtle melancholy, inviting listeners to step away from everyday life for a moment.

The music of Boy of Sleep appeals to listeners who appreciate clear, unobtrusive ambient compositions — pieces that create space without feeling empty. Lane’s work offers a place of retreat, relying less on effects and more on mood and atmosphere, resulting in a personal and understated approach to the ambient genre.

'shh ... they'll hear us' is the opening track from Max Foucher's debut album 'Music For Landfill', released by Gasworks Records on 5th March 2026. Pavel Doronin - Dill 53

Taken from the new EP, the Track 'Dill 53' is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Mar 4, 2026

UK-based musician Pavel Doronin returns with Dill, a new EP that turns scent, domestic detail and half-remembered feeling into slow, tactile ambient music.

“One day, I was chopping dill and the smell just pulled me straight back to my mother’s cooking. It was like being dropped into childhood again. I wanted the EP to hold that feeling: a small reset, a return to curiosity, something I can step into when I need to.” - Pavel Doronin

Doronin treats that sensation as a kind of respawn point: not nostalgia-as-comfort, but a return to a clearer emotional state. Across the EP, vintage 80s synthesisers blur into close-mic’d fragments of everyday life - cutlery, safety matches, keys - as if memory is replaying itself in scraps and flashes, then stretching out into something slow, immersive and strangely restorative.

Following last year’s debut single “Seagull” (a collaboration with pianist Aliya Lark), Dill pushes further into Doronin’s more experimental territory — intimate electronics with an almost physical sense of space, where the smallest sound can carry the heaviest weight.

Active since the mid-’90s, Doronin has spent years releasing and performing under various monikers; recording under his own name is a deliberate reset — a quieter, more inward chapter built from minimalist motifs, field recordings and time-bending textures. His music moves like an internal monologue: patient, close-up, emotionally loaded without ever raising its voice.

Mitsch Kohn - Inner Universe Pt. 4

New to M.P.R Ambient is composer Mitsch Kohn with the track 'Inner Universe Pt.4'.

Release date: Jan 9, 2016

Inner Universe Pt.4 is a part of a musical trance journey composed and produced by german composer Mitsch Kohn. The song is an accompaniment for the journey into the inner worlds. It leads into spaces of inner peace and harmony, but can also be taken as an accompany to travel to previously unexplored spaces and spheres in order to feel the unfelt, to recognize the unrecognized, to deal with unfinished business and to be able to let go of what has been held on to until now.

It is a journey into heightened states of consciousness in order to meet oneself from there with all that is, to see the shadows, as well as to come closer to the light, to remember the soul and thus to experience fulfillment and inner peace. The CD can be experienced as a birth process, a consciousness update into a clearer, stronger more radiant version of yourself.

The concept of the full journey was to offer a musically guided meditation into Theta state. It is picking up the listener from daily consciousness, guiding into realms of deep Theta where transformation could happen easily and then bring back to daily consciousnes again.

Release date: Jan 30, 2026

Shambhu Releases “Quogue Morning” – A Reflective Acoustic Meditation Inspired by Nature and Stillness

In a time marked by political tension, economic uncertainty, and the constant pull of digital noise, guitarist and composer Shambhu offers a gentle alternative: stillness.

His single, Quogue Morning, is a contemplative solo acoustic guitar piece inspired by early sunrise walks through the Quogue Wildlife Refuge on the east end of Long Island. The composition reflects the quiet clarity of those mornings — before headlines, before notifications, before the rush of the day.

“Quogue Morning came from simply walking,” Shambhu shares. “Walking before the world felt loud. Listening to birdsong. Feeling open air. Letting the nervous system settle. The music followed naturally.”

The piece unfolds with spacious phrasing, warm tone, and melodic simplicity. It captures the experience of presence — the subtle rhythm of footsteps on a wooded trail, filtered through guitar strings.

Shambhu’s work resides in the acoustic instrumental, new age, and ambient jazz space. His music has connected with listeners worldwide and has received significant airplay on SiriusXM Spa, where he was the #1 most-played artist in February 2025, December 2025, and January 2026.

Novaexperiment - The Expanse

'The Expanse' by Novaexperiment is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Novaexperiment creates atmospheric Space Ambience, blending classic Berlin School sequencers with modern Psychill. A hypnotic, analog journey designed for deep listening without AI. 'The Expanse' is taken from the album titled 'Quantum Pulse'.

"My search for the perfect sound ended abruptly one day in the early 80s: "Fade to Grey". That track was the spark. It transformed a boy who learned guitar from his father into an obsessive sound explorer. Inspired by role models like Vince Clarke, I traded strings for my first synthesizers at age 16. Guided only by ear – without reading a single note".

Novaexperiment is the answer!

"Born in 1972, I am a self-taught artist creating a blend of Ambient, Berlin School, and Psybient that breathes. No AI, no theory. Just pure synthesis, intuitive sound design, and the atmosphere of an era that defined music history".

Novaexperiment was recently featured on the renowned Syndae Podcast (Episode 797) alongside genre legends, confirming that the spirit of the sequencer is very much alive.

Daryl Groetsch - Fathoms

Pre-release, the album titled 'Fathoms' by Daryl Groetsch is now featuring on M.P.R Ambient.

Release Date: 6th April 2026

Inspired by Earth’s oceans, and reading Rachel Carson’s 1951 book on the subject, The Sea Around Us, the new ambient album, Fathoms, by Daryl Groetsch starts on the rippling surface, with bright feelings and glittering light. Each of the four tracks go deeper through the stratums and currents, and ends on the ocean floor, in darkness and stillness. Some field recordings of water are mixed in with the selection of emotive synthesizer tones. In production for much of 2025, this work sees its release after the composer has relocated from Portland, Oregon to Salzburg, Austria.

"Whether recording under his own name, Daryl Groetsch, or the Pulse Emitter moniker, this much is certain: you’ll be lulled into a hypnotic state, entranced by the synthesizer-driven zoners that this Portland, Oregon-based [now Salzburg, Austria] sound artist so majestically crafts. A classically-trained composer, Groetsch’s heady amalgam of New Age-style radiance, hallucinogenic drone fields, interstellar melodies and rumbling electronics is the perfect escape mechanism to drift off and tune out the world.” - Brad Cohan

CIRC - Stellar Waltz

From the new EP 'Fading', the track Stellar Waltz by CIRC is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Feb 6, 2026

CIRC returns with “Fading”, a cinematic and experimental ambient EP

After several years of relative silence under his CIRC moniker, French electronic composer François Rousseau returns with Fading, a six-track EP shaped by two years of sonic experimentation. The release marks a new chapter in a 25-year career that bridges experimental electronic music and high-level production for international media.

Blending old-school ambient minimalism with accessible instrumental pop experimentation, Fading moves between cinematic textures, subtle symphonic elements, new age atmospheres, drone structures, and hints of post-rock. Each composition is built from a limited number of elements, allowing space, depth and emotional resonance without repetition.

Described as both nostalgic and immersive, the EP unfolds like a slightly time-worn wallpaper: colors softened by age, emotions echoing beneath the surface — sometimes warm and comforting, sometimes darker and melancholic. True to CIRC’s artistic philosophy, the music does not impose meaning. Instead, it invites listeners to project their own emotional landscape onto the sound.

Fading also precedes the upcoming release of a production music album created for a major label and aimed at film, television and brand professionals.

About CIRC (François Rousseau)

Composing electronic music for more than 25 years, François Rousseau (also known as CIRC and Eir Drift) has developed a singular approach that combines accessibility with subtle experimentation. His work has been released through major production music catalogs including Sony Music’s Extreme division, Extreme Music, and Universal Music Group.

Dozens of his compositions have been featured in audiovisual productions and global media platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO, BBC, Arte, TF1 and France Télévisions.

While actively composing for media, CIRC remains committed to a personal artistic vision: electronic music that is immersive, textured, minimalist, and open to interpretation.
