Fading Bright, the sophomore album by Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound, is an experimental ambient journey through hazy, nostalgic soundscapes. Recorded with analogue synthesizers, a compact Eurorack system, piano, and found sounds, the record is shaped as much by texture as by melody, embracing the dusty imperfections of analogue electronics, lo-fi digital effects, and gentle tape warbles. Blissed-out drones dissolve into playful, hypnotic motifs, giving way to moments of sombre reflection. A collection of intimate yet expansive sonic vignettes, Fading Bright lingers like a warm memory, glowing bright even as it fades with time.

Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound is an experimental ambient musician from Western Louisiana. He incorporates analogue synthesizers, a Eurorack system, acoustic instruments, field recordings and found sounds into nostalgic ambient and drone soundscapes. His debut album, Color of Sunshine, was released in 2023 on Mystery Circles.

Margaret Hermant is a Brussels-based violinist, harpist, and composer, and a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with a wide range of acclaimed artists. Alongside her collaborative work, Margaret Hermant has developed a strong personal voice as a composer and sound artist. Her practice spans film scores, theatre productions, art installations, and dance performances, and is rooted in a sensitive exploration of timbre, space, and atmosphere. Her compositions often revolve around harp and violin, blending acoustic writing with subtle electronic processing.

The track 'Sedimenti' is taken from the EP titled 'Luce Fredda'. The piece unfolds as a slow accumulation of sonic elements: granular textures, deep reverbs, and fragments that settle over time, creating a sense of continuous stratification. There’s no linear progression, but rather an internal, almost geological movement made of micro-variations and subtle shifts.

The atmosphere is suspended and cold, leaning more toward observation than narration, leaving space for attentive and immersive listening.

EP - Luce Fredda

Producer Kamaji releases Luce Fredda, an ambient and IDM work that unfolds as a suspended sonic landscape between nature, memory, and perception.

Organic and digital elements coexist throughout the record: sounds reminiscent of insects, plants, and aquatic creatures appear and dissolve within minimal electronic structures. The result is a fluid and unstable sonic environment, as if observed through the filter of a dream or a distant memory.

As the tracks evolve, this landscape gradually stops being only an external place and becomes an emotional and inner space. Water, light, and natural sounds slowly transform into symbols of a mental state, opening the door to a sonic journey that runs through the entire EP.

The sound of the record is built on a fragile and deconstructed foundation made of subtle details and almost imperceptible variations. Ambient textures intertwine with broken rhythms, crystalline synths, and seemingly disconnected sound materials, as if emerging from a parallel reality.

A recurring element is the 8-bit aesthetic inspired by retro video games: a subtle yet persistent reference to digital nostalgia, glitch textures, and the technological memory of sound.

Luce Fredda is neither a refuge nor an escape, but a fragile meeting point between opposites: nature and abstraction, silence and rhythm, sensory perception and suspension.

'shh ... they'll hear us' is the opening track from Max Foucher's debut album 'Music For Landfill', released by Gasworks Records on 5th March 2026. The track, like the rest of the album, is a field recording piece woven around ambient electronica. It was recorded in and around the kitchens of the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Dubai in December 2025.

Music For Landfill is the debut album from field recordist and sound collage artist Max Foucher. Constructed from fragments of everyday environments, the record blends found sound, environmental recordings and subtle ambient textures into a series of vivid sonic vignettes. Conversations, passing machinery, wind, water and fleeting human moments become the raw material for compositions that transform overlooked noise into atmosphere, memory and narrative.

Shambhu Releases “Quogue Morning” – A Reflective Acoustic Meditation Inspired by Nature and Stillness

In a time marked by political tension, economic uncertainty, and the constant pull of digital noise, guitarist and composer Shambhu offers a gentle alternative: stillness.

His single, Quogue Morning, is a contemplative solo acoustic guitar piece inspired by early sunrise walks through the Quogue Wildlife Refuge on the east end of Long Island. Inspired by Earth’s oceans, and reading Rachel Carson’s 1951 book on the subject, The Sea Around Us, the new ambient album, Fathoms, by Daryl Groetsch starts on the rippling surface, with bright feelings and glittering light. Each of the four tracks go deeper through the stratums and currents, and ends on the ocean floor, in darkness and stillness. Some field recordings of water are mixed in with the selection of emotive synthesizer tones. In production for much of 2025, this work sees its release after the composer has relocated from Portland, Oregon to Salzburg, Austria.

CIRC returns with “Fading”, a cinematic and experimental ambient EP

After several years of relative silence under his CIRC moniker, French electronic composer François Rousseau returns with Fading, a six-track EP shaped by two years of sonic experimentation. The release marks a new chapter in a 25-year career that bridges experimental electronic music and high-level production for international media.

Blending old-school ambient minimalism with accessible instrumental pop experimentation, Fading moves between cinematic textures, subtle symphonic elements, new age atmospheres, drone structures, and hints of post-rock. Each composition is built from a limited number of elements, allowing space, depth and emotional resonance without repetition.

Described as both nostalgic and immersive, the EP unfolds like a slightly time-worn wallpaper: colors softened by age, emotions echoing beneath the surface — sometimes warm and comforting, sometimes darker and melancholic. True to CIRC’s artistic philosophy, the music does not impose meaning. Instead, it invites listeners to project their own emotional landscape onto the sound.

Fading also precedes the upcoming release of a production music album created for a major label and aimed at film, television and brand professionals.
