Where 'Thirty' processed grief, Downfall explores psychological fragmentation: the weight of accumulated pressure, the urge to disappear far from the social veneer, the feeling of never belonging, a vital need to rebuild...
Conceived as a soundtrack to an imaginary film, the album follows someone who abandons everything overnight. But like all Irezumi works, the fiction is a vessel for something real... A need to reconnect with the abyss while keeping enough distance to stay alive.
With a different approach than previous albums, these tracks reflect the fractures of a mind in crisis. Each format (CD, vinyl, digital) offers a different fragment of the story, reflecting the confusion at its core. Different paths are taken, but the goal remains the same: to heal.
