Maven CX returns with a new album: Space Ghosts. This album is a departure from their more beat driven previous work, creating a drifting and sometimes dark atmosphere with a mix of piano, guitars, synthesizers and field recordings. The concept of the album explores a strong desire to escape.
Maven CX is Kevin Maeng and Steven Scherrelies, who met in the video game industry and created the project to explore soundtrack instrumental styles in the form of concept albums.
