Fading Bright, the sophomore album by Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound, is an experimental ambient journey through hazy, nostalgic soundscapes. Recorded with analogue synthesizers, a compact Eurorack system, piano, and found sounds, the record is shaped as much by texture as by melody, embracing the dusty imperfections of analogue electronics, lo-fi digital effects, and gentle tape warbles. Blissed-out drones dissolve into playful, hypnotic motifs, giving way to moments of sombre reflection. A collection of intimate yet expansive sonic vignettes, Fading Bright lingers like a warm memory, glowing bright even as it fades with time.

Artist Bio
Nathan Strong a.k.a memorysound is an experimental ambient musician from Western Louisiana. He incorporates analogue synthesizers, a Eurorack system, acoustic instruments, field recordings and found sounds into nostalgic ambient and drone soundscapes. His debut album, Color of Sunshine, was released in 2023 on Mystery Circles.
