Aaclps - Tallinn

From the album 'Next Time' the track 'Tallinn' by Aaclps, is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Mar 27, 2026

With Next Time, Aaclps crafts a cinematic downtempo universe where piano, ambient textures, melancholic strings and Jungle inspired rhythms intertwine. Conceived as a collection of emotional fragments, the album explores the traces left by time, imperfect memories, and those suspended moments that seem ordinary before becoming essential.

In contrast to an era increasingly shaped by automation, Next Time embraces a deeply human approach: original compositions, handcrafted sound design, sonic experimentation and the search for organic imperfections. The intention is not to create something flawless, but something alive.

The track Tallinn perfectly embodies this artistic direction. Inspired by northern atmospheres and the contrast between urban calm and inner solitude, the piece blends ambient layers, minimalist melodies and immersive progression. Like a boat crossing, drifting somewhere between two horizons, Tallinn leaves space for texture, silence and emotional nuance rather than demonstration

At a time dominated by speed and content saturation, Next Time chooses slowness, nuance and breathing space. An album designed as much for late-night headphone listening as for moments of introspection, travel or urban drifting.

Dustin O'Halloran - Fragile N.1

Dustin O’Halloran releases unheard track ‘Fragile N.1’ now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: May 6, 2026

Acclaimed composer Dustin O’Halloran released a new single, Fragile N.1, on May 6th. Recorded during the making of his seminal 2011 album Lumière, it’s one of four tracks that will accompany an expanded rerelease of the album. Coming in the year of its 15th anniversary, the new additions are a treasure trove of Lumière-era music, opened up to listeners for the first time.

O’Halloran wrote Lumière during and after his work on the soundtrack for Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, and much of the music is cut from the same cloth. Fragile N.1 is both bracingly bold and enticingly delicate, with a resonance that still sounds like the notes have just been played. “I’d been exploring these ideas of fragility for the film,” says Dustin. “The kind of colours, textures, and materials it was using. And ideas of innocence. There were a lot of interesting sketches that didn't make the record, and these ones felt worthy of release.”

The reissued album will include three other tracks — unreleased piano composition Timothy Is Sleeping, a propulsive remix of We Move Lightly, and a subtle, intimate demo recording of Opus 43. Taken together, the four additional tracks open a new window into the richly creative moment when Lumière was recorded. “I learned a lot through the process of making this record,” says Dustin. “It set me up to explore so many different things about sound, in its pure form.”

Fragile N.1 is now available to stream or buy from bandcamp with Lumière (Expanded) available from June 12th.

Shambhu - Love And The Sea

'Love and the Sea' is the latest release by Shambhu and now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Apr 30, 2026

Guitarist and composer Shambhu has released his new single, “Love and the Sea,” an evocative ambient instrumental built around pulsating acoustic guitar rhythms, glistening guitar textures, and subtle atmospheric depth. Released on April 30, 2026, the track offers listeners a spacious and emotionally immersive journey shaped by tenderness, tension, and release.

At the heart of “Love and the Sea” is the sound of guitars in motion. Rather than following a rigid rhythmic structure, the music unfolds organically, with recurring melodic fragments that rise and return like waves or memories. The result is intimate yet cinematic, rooted in the expressive power of solo guitar while reaching toward a wider emotional horizon.

“In Love and the Sea, love is felt not as possession, but as presence,” says Shambhu. “Vast like the sea, it is forever changing, yet forever itself. It soothes, it challenges, and it calls us into deeper waters of feeling and awareness.”

The single highlights Shambhu’s gift for creating reflective instrumental music that invites calm while also holding emotional complexity. A subtle use of synthesizer atmosphere deepens the sonic landscape, but the stars of the recording are the pulsating and shimmering guitars, which carry the listener through shifting moods of mystery, warmth, and light.

Earl-Light - Chair Set Go

'Chair Set Go' by Earl-Light is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Aug 24, 2025

Earl-Light - releases 'Chair Set Go', A quiet, emotional tribute to love, stillness and the night before a new beginning.

Korean composer Earl-Light, based in Abu Dhabi and known for his slow, peaceful, beat-driven ambient sound, unveils Chair Set Go — an instrumental piece inspired by one of the most intimate and transformative moments of his life: the night before his seaside wedding in Hua Hin, Thailand.

On that quiet evening, long after the resort staff had finished scattering white chairs across the grass in preparation for the next day’s ceremony, Earl-Light stepped onto the empty field overlooking the ocean. The waves rolled in softly, crickets hummed in the distance, and the night sky stretched wide above him. He took his fiancée’s hand and sat with her on one of the unarranged chairs — two people alone in the stillness, on the very spot where they would become husband and wife the next day.

Chair Set Go is a musical snapshot of that moment: the calm before a lifelong journey, the gratitude of finding the person you will walk with, and the quiet magic of knowing you are ready. The title reflects both the literal scene — sitting on the chairs set out for the ceremony — and the emotional truth of the moment: a gentle, heartfelt “set… go” into a new chapter of life.

The track blends warm ambient textures, soft rhythmic pulses, and Earl-Light’s signature peaceful atmosphere. It is slow, spacious, and deeply human — an instrumental love letter to stillness, commitment, and the beauty of new beginnings.

From the album 'Island of Flowers' the track 'Shallows' by Seamus O’Muineachain is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: May 29, 2026

Released today, 'Island of Flowers' is the 9th studio album from Bangkok-based, Irish multinstrumentalist Seamus O’Muineachain. The album began after O’Muineachain saw his first child on an ultrasound scanner for the first time.

“Seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat for the first time was more inspiring to me as an artist than I had anticipated,” O’Muineachain says. “I started to have vivid visions of land brimming with flowers and life in my dreams.”

Centred on themes of flourishing and abundance, Island of Flowers is O’Muineachain’s most optimistic and decadent release to date. While retaining the simple piano lines found in his earlier work, the album also merges synths and field recordings with treated strings and minimal percussion.

Tracks such as “You” and “Farewell Formosa” favour accessible melodies and uplifting tones, while “Shallows” and “Lost, Roaming” incorporate elements of ambient IDM. Elsewhere, “We Swim” revisits O’Muineachain’s work in solo piano miniatures. Taken together, Island of Flowers unfolds as an exercise in world-building, one where melody and mood are paramount, and where a sense of life quietly insists on emerging.

1. You
2. Lost, Roaming
3. Shallows

Emmanuel Pfirter - For Crows & Trees

'For Crows and Trees' the meditative journey of the Handpan and Strings by Emmanuel Pfirter, now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Apr 17, 2026

How can a single sound bridge the gap between profound stillness and vibrant energy? "For Crows and Trees", the new instrumental single by Emmanuel Pfirter, answers this through a captivating dialogue between the ancestral vibrations of the handpan and the elegant textures of viola and violins. It is a track designed to guide the listener into a state of deep calm, while simultaneously infusing a sense of renewed vitality.

The Genesis: A Private Concert for Nature

"For Crows and Trees" wasn't composed at a desk; it was born from pure improvisation deep within the woods. “I was playing for the sake of it, letting my fingers run across the steel,” the artist explains. “The song emerged on its own, as if nature itself were dictating the notes. When I finished, I looked up and saw two crows perched on a nearby tree: they had been sitting there, motionless, listening. In that moment, I realized the song belonged to them and to those trees.”

The Track: Balancing Peace and Energy

This single is a sonic experience designed for those seeking a state of serenity without sacrificing vitality. The handpan, with its dreamy harmonics, guides the listener through an introspective journey that calms the mind while simultaneously providing an energetic boost—a nod to the artist's rhythmic precision and percussive background.

The Artist: An Unexpected Evolution

Emmanuel Pfirter’s path is a unique one: it began at age six behind a drum kit, pounding out hard rock and heavy metal rhythms. Over the years, his sonic curiosity led him to explore new horizons, moving from local bands to a solo career. Today, while still keeping his rock soul alive in various projects, he has found his most intimate voice through the handpan, transforming percussion from an instrument of impact into a tool for healing and meditation.

Schatten Der Erde - Raphaels Mantra

Artist and Composer Schatten Der Erde debuts on M.P.R Ambient with 'Raphaels Mantra'

Release date: Apr 10, 2026

With Raphaels Mantra, artist and composer Schatten Der Erde opens a sonic gateway into a world where sound becomes remembrance, and music becomes a vessel for inner awakening.

Blending delicate piano textures with subtle ambient layers and cinematic depth, Raphaels Mantra unfolds like a quiet revelation. The piece invites listeners to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with a deeper sense of presence beyond the noise of everyday life.

Inspired by the character Raphael from the spiritual-dystopian novel Schatten der Erde – Erinnern des Lichts, the track reflects themes of truth, perception, and the awakening of consciousness. Raphael, a seeker of hidden knowledge, symbolizes the courage to look beyond illusion—and this essence is translated into a soundscape that feels both introspective and expansive.

Rather than following traditional structures, Raphaels Mantra evolves organically, allowing emotion and atmosphere to guide the listener. It sits at the intersection of Ambient, Neo-Classical, and Soundtrack music—offering a refreshing and deeply immersive listening experience. More than just a standalone track, Raphaels Mantra is a fragment of a greater story—inviting the audience to feel, reflect, and remember.

Raphaels Mantra is part of a larger artistic vision: a series of 12 musical mantras, each representing one of the central characters of the story and their inner journey.

Kamaji - Sedimenti

The track 'Sedimenti' by artist and producer Kamaji is now playing on M.P.R Ambient.

Release date: Feb 17, 2026

Sedimenti

The track 'Sedimenti' is taken from the EP titled 'Luce Fredda'. The piece unfolds as a slow accumulation of sonic elements: granular textures, deep reverbs, and fragments that settle over time, creating a sense of continuous stratification. There’s no linear progression, but rather an internal, almost geological movement made of micro-variations and subtle shifts.

The atmosphere is suspended and cold, leaning more toward observation than narration, leaving space for attentive and immersive listening.

EP - Luce Fredda

Producer Kamaji releases Luce Fredda, an ambient and IDM work that unfolds as a suspended sonic landscape between nature, memory, and perception.

Organic and digital elements coexist throughout the record: sounds reminiscent of insects, plants, and aquatic creatures appear and dissolve within minimal electronic structures. The result is a fluid and unstable sonic environment, as if observed through the filter of a dream or a distant memory.

As the tracks evolve, this landscape gradually stops being only an external place and becomes an emotional and inner space. Water, light, and natural sounds slowly transform into symbols of a mental state, opening the door to a sonic journey that runs through the entire EP.

The sound of the record is built on a fragile and deconstructed foundation made of subtle details and almost imperceptible variations. Ambient textures intertwine with broken rhythms, crystalline synths, and seemingly disconnected sound materials, as if emerging from a parallel reality.

A recurring element is the 8-bit aesthetic inspired by retro video games: a subtle yet persistent reference to digital nostalgia, glitch textures, and the technological memory of sound.

Luce Fredda is neither a refuge nor an escape, but a fragile meeting point between opposites: nature and abstraction, silence and rhythm, sensory perception and suspension.

Boy of Sleep - 117-155

Boy of Sleep returns to M.P.R Ambient with the track titled '117-155'

Release date: Mar 13, 2026

The track '117-155' is taken from the forthcoming album 'Ambient Works Vol 1' which is due for release on October 16th, 2026

Ambient Works Vol 1 was recorded as a series of quiet experiments—sound passing through tape, memory passing through time. Built on a 4-track recorder with synthesizers and drifting effects, the album leans into imperfection: hiss, saturation, the soft blur where tones lose their edges. The pieces feel less composed than remembered, looping like half-forgotten dreams or distant broadcasts. It’s music meant to hover rather than arrive, existing in the space between waking and sleep, where nostalgia isn’t recalled—it’s felt." - Boy of Sleep

Boy of Sleep is the ambient project of musician Michael Lane, known to many for his work in the indie-folk scene. Under this alias, Lane creates calm, atmospheric soundscapes built on minimalism, emotion, and a clear, understated aesthetic. The pieces move between meditative stillness and subtle melancholy, inviting listeners to step away from everyday life for a moment.

The music of Boy of Sleep appeals to listeners who appreciate clear, unobtrusive ambient compositions — pieces that create space without feeling empty. Lane’s work offers a place of retreat, relying less on effects and more on mood and atmosphere, resulting in a personal and understated approach to the ambient genre.
