New release from Lofi Ice Cream Chill (now known as Electronic Ice Cream) entitled 'Dulce De Leche' now playing on M.P.R Chill.
Released on 3rd May 2024, 'Dulce De Leche' is taken from the album 'Lofi Ice Cream Chill (Vol 1)'
Lofi Ice Cream Chill is a producer based in Knoxville, TN, USA, who creates downtempo electronica songs with cozy lofi elements and an ice cream theme.
“Ice cream is one of those cross-cultural delights that can conjure instant positivity. There is a lot of dark and murky imagery in lofi music culture, so I was inspired to experiment with connecting my lofi productions to the lighter, gentle imagery of ice cream to offer something a little different.”
Each of the three tracks on ‘Lofi Ice Cream Volume 1’ is named for an ice cream flavor and melodically builds on meditative beats, uplifting progressions, and immersive synths. Sonically, Lofi Ice Cream Chill’s music features classic lofi artifacts and found sounds, like vinyl record crackles, playground laughter, and nature foley.
“I love how calming and meditative downtempo electronica feels, and I’ve been in a great flow state working on this project. I’m so excited to finally start sharing these songs. I’ll be releasing five Lofi Ice Cream Chill volumes altogether, over the course of the summer. Vol 2 is coming out May 31, 2024.”
Naming each song for a flavor is also an invitation to combine an ice cream tasting with a music-listening experience, a nice low-key way to take a break from the world, relax, and enjoy tasty treats for multiple senses.
