Slimdog Productions is David Bell Jr from Colorado Springs, Colorado. David started doing beats back in 2004 on MySpace. Ended up collaborating with 2 others to form the group, "Block Scholars". They went on to Win "Hip Hop Song Of The Year " in 2014 from Hollywood Music In Media with, "All Of My Life". After the group disbanded, David started doing instrumental albums. On his 3rd album, "Slimstrumentals Vol III", the song "SuperFly'd" charted on 2 iTunes charts in Norway on January 21st, 2004 (#13 Dance & #84 Overall Genres).
Slimdog began making music/composing beats in 2004. His music was used in the HMMA's (Hollywood Music In Media Awards) Hip Hop/R&B Song Of The Year from Block Scholars in 2014 with "All Of My Life". "Slimstrumentals Vol. 1" was the first Hip Hop instrumental compilation by Slimdog Productions in 2012. Now making Lofi, Chillhop, Jazzhop music, he is influenced by great artists such as: Nokia, The Deli, Jinsang, Moods, B-Side, CoryaYo and Evil Needle. Slimdog Productions has signed singles with LFTD Global Music Group Inc. of Canada & and EP released by Crossworlder Music Ltd. of The United Kingdom.
