This evening at around midnight there will be a short break in service on M.P.R Chill.
This will allow us to upgrade the stream bitrates as follows:
The 128kbps Mp3 stream will increase to 192kbps
The 64kbps AAC stream will increase to 128 kbps
The short break will happen between 12 am and 1 am BST 22nd May.

UK listeners via Tunein!
Our stream via Tunein is no longer available to UK listeners. As far as we know, the rest of the World is unaffected. We have not received any communication from Tunein!

Due to a security breech precautionary action is being undertaken. This may possibly cause some service disruption to both channels. Apologies for that and have a Happy New Year.
Transfer to new server: MPR Chill's current server will be depreciated on November 30th. Our new server is now on the air and fully functional. However, the unfortunate consequence is the new stream address will need adding to your bookmarks and media players. It also means streaming platforms will need updating, which will take time.

Back in January we announced the deprecation of our European server and a move to a new facility. This was delayed due to various reasons but will now take place over the coming days. Our current EU server will close on September 30th. The new server details will be made available on the listen page over the next few days.

The new server is up and running, please update your bookmarks etc, details are on the listen page, the old server will cease on 30th September.
Important Notice - 4th February 2020
Update - 1st March 2020 - This has now been delayed
On the 28th of February our main EU server is due to be deprecated as it's come to the end of its operational life. This means our stream IP address will change causing disruption to various platforms. The transfer to the new server may take some time so we recommend switching to our USA outlet for the duration, details can be found on our 'Listen' page.
In the meantime the USA mp3 stream will be upgraded to 128 kbps with the temporary closer of the 32 kbps AAC for the transitional period.
We apologise for the disruption.
