Korean composer Earl-Light, based in Abu Dhabi and known for his slow, peaceful, beat-driven ambient sound, unveils Chair Set Go — an instrumental piece inspired by one of the most intimate and transformative moments of his life: the night before his seaside wedding in Hua Hin, Thailand.
On that quiet evening, long after the resort staff had finished scattering white chairs across the grass in preparation for the next day’s ceremony, Earl-Light stepped onto the empty field overlooking the ocean. The waves rolled in softly, crickets hummed in the distance, and the night sky stretched wide above him. He took his fiancée’s hand and sat with her on one of the unarranged chairs — two people alone in the stillness, on the very spot where they would become husband and wife the next day.
