Kat Kikta returns to M.P.R Chill with her latest release titled 'Dreamer'

Dreamer is a nebulous, lo-fi leaning pop anthem for the subconscious. Kat has blended traditional pop structure with a soft hip-hop influenced pulse. A strong narrative plays out for an audience to eavesdrop on: A persistent entity troubles the dreamer who awakes and tries to make peace with the trespassing projection. Perhaps she is talking in her sleep.
Dreamer’s theme of saying farewells, separation, wishing well and accepting departure, feels both personal and universal at the same time. It also comes as a reminder of the importance of saying goodbye properly: or be haunted by a ghostly unclosed loop, a loose end.
Kat’s latest offering is outstanding in her own catalogue. Known as a truly experimental performer and artist with a trademark flourish of rich and poetic visuals, a striking music video is lined up to accompany the release (see stills).
Dreamer is the last single before Kat drops her debut album Moldavite, and it offers a tantalising glimpse into her evolving sound, promising a new chapter for the artist and her growing fan base.
